Beginner Yoga

Saturdays

9:15 - 10:15 a.m.

Beginner Yoga offers a warm and welcoming space to introduce you to yoga or help you brush up on the fundamentals. Experience pranayama (breathing), asana (poses), and meditation in a safe, gradual and easy-to-understand way, and meet a community of kindred spirits too! This series is perfect for anyone who is totally new to yoga as well as those looking to revisit the basics or just experience a slower, gentle flow. There will be lots of opportunity for questions and hands on assists to guide students into ease in their practice. All are welcome!

Vinyasa Flow

Saturdays

10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Learn to combine your breath with your movement as we explore creative postures and sequencing. In this energizing class, you will develop your balance, flexibility, and strength, all with the goal to feel empowered and free in your body through functional mobility and easeful breath! All yogis are welcome and will find an uplifting and fun practice, with more experienced yogis maybe even finding a little extra little challenge.

Mom and Baby Yoga

Mondays

Women's Health Physiotherapy Centre, Whitby

A yoga class where you can move; bring your baby along so they can enjoy the class with you. You will be guided through safe, physiotherapist approved poses that your pelvis and postnatal body will be grateful for! Connect with your baby through movement and eye contact. Start working those muscles that need some attention after birth while taking a moment to breathe…ahh. This class is suitable for all levels and abilities and developed for newborn to pre-crawling babies.

Gentle Flow

Mondays

6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Find time for you to nurture yourself and move with ease in this gentle flow class suitable for all levels. Connect your body, mind and spirit as you move through guided breath and movement in a mindful way. Build strength and flexibility with ease. Release stress and leave feeling rejuvenated, grounded and filled with compassion for yourself. This class is great for those who are new to yoga and is safe for all levels.

Prenatal Yoga

Tuesdays

For pregnant mamas! Nourish your changing body with pelvic floor exercise, physical and mental preparation for delivery, stretch and strength training, and connect with your baby! Feel supported by a community of moms as you enter into the journey of motherhood, connecting to the innate power and wisdom within you.

Stress Release Flow + Restore w/ Aromatherapy

End your day in peace and relaxation in this slow flow class where we’ll bring balance and ease to your mind, body and spirit. Move through a gentle flow and end with restful restorative poses to remove the stress of the day, all while enjoying the health and emotional benefits of aromatherapy. You will leave feeling calm, relaxed and restored. Perfect for all levels, including students with physical restrictions or postpartum mamas. Indulge in the rest. You deserve it!

Movers + Me!

Thursdays

10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

The Yoga Den, Whitby

For the energetic little mover(s) in your life! This class is open to any caregiver who is seeking a fun, engaging, and entertaining class/adventure in a safe space outside of home. Sway and Play to start your day! This class is upbeat, interactive,​ and educational. It will incorporate​ music, play, imagination, creative​ songs, yoga and movement. This is a great way for adults to get in touch with their inner child, and also spend quality time with their tot/older baby. The class is a wonderful way for your little mover to burn off energy, learn, and develop motor skills as well as​ hand eye coordination. There is so much to learn and enjoy in this sensory experience! It will leave you feeling enthusiastic, uplifted, and ready to face the world together!​ We are extremely excited for you to join us on your journey with your mini mover!​ ​Caregivers are asked to bring at least one (1) yoga mat. A second is recommended for tot if possible/applicable. This is a perfect follow-on to Mom and Baby Yoga (however, no prior experience is required)!

Receive and Restore: Guided Meditation Reiki Journey

Thursdays

6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

This is a unique and essential class to support you in bringing rest, calm, wellbeing, balance and harmony into your daily life. No matter the source of demands on you, this class is intended for you! Through guided meditation paired with Reiki and restorative poses you will move out of your head and into your heart. Receive relief from a busy mind and stressful life through a variation of gentle movement, supportive comfortable poses, breathwork, guided meditation, Reiki, gentle massage, Essential Oils and so much more. This is the perfect place to prioritize yourself, indulge in self care, and connection all while promoting rest, healing, and positive mental health. You will be so grateful to have taken this time for yourself. You need and deserve this!
